Try our Face Shape Analyzer to see how this style might look on your child. How does the Eli wig fit and feel on a child's head? The lightweight wefted construction keeps the cap breathable for all-day wear, while the lace front and monofilament part contribute to a secure, natural-looking fit. No, the Eli is made from standard synthetic fiber and is not heat-styleable. Curling irons, flat irons, and blow dryers should be avoided, as heat will permanently damage the fibers. The style arrives pre-set in its medium bob shape and will naturally return to that shape after washing. To better understand synthetic versus heat-friendly fiber options, explore our Wig Fiber Guide for a full comparison. What colors is the Eli by Ellen Wille available in, and how do I choose the right shade? The Eli from Ellen Wille's Power Kids collection is available in a range of Ellen Wille's signature synthetic color options. Choosing the right shade for a child can feel overwhelming, but matching to their natural hair color or skin tone makes the result look most realistic. Use our Color Guide Tool to compare swatches and find the most natural-looking match before ordering. How do I wash and care for the Eli wig to keep it looking its best? Wash the Eli synthetic wig every 8 to 10 wears using a gentle, sulfate-free wig shampoo in cool water. Avoid rubbing or wringing the fibers — instead, gently swish, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry on a wig stand. Never use regular hair products not formulated for synthetic wigs, as they can cause buildup and dull the fiber over time. Is the Eli by Ellen Wille suitable for children experiencing medical hair loss? Yes, the Eli is part of Ellen Wille's Power Kids collection, which is designed with medically-related pediatric hair loss in mind. The lace front hairline creates a natural-looking edge that can even be styled up without revealing the wig's perimeter, and the monofilament part mimics the appearance of a real scalp. At just 2.4 oz., it is light enough for sensitive scalps and comfortable all-day wear.
