Elevate Side/Back Panel

The Woud Elevate Side/Back Panel takes modular furniture and actually makes it make sense - no tools, no complicated instructions, just stack the oak veneer shelves and tighten the solid oak dowels until you get exactly the configuration that works for your space. Designers Camilla Akersveen and Christopher Konings figured out how to make something that's endlessly customizable without being a nightmare to assemble or reconfigure when your needs change. The oak finish has this warm, natural quality that works whether you're storing office supplies, displaying books and art, or organizing kitchen items. What's particularly smart is how the individual elements ship separately, so you can buy exactly what you need instead of being stuck with someone else's idea of the perfect shelf setup. The construction quality shows up in details like the metal bracket wall mounting system and the 15 kg weight capacity per shelf - this isn't flimsy modular furniture that wobbles when you put anything substantial on it. The solid oak dowels with metal threading create these really solid connections that tighten properly and stay put, while the oak veneer shelves feel substantial and well-finished rather than cheap or temporary. The system scales from small configurations perfect for apartments to large wall-spanning installations for offices or living rooms, and you can always add more pieces later when your storage needs evolve. The whole thing manages to look intentional and well-designed rather than obviously modular. Woud operates with this Danish design philosophy where furniture should adapt to how people actually live rather than forcing them to work around rigid systems. Founders Mia and Torben Koed built the brand around collaborating with talented designers who understand Scandinavian principles but aren't afraid to innovate on traditional approaches. Their focus on clean lines and functional beauty means creating pieces that enhance daily life through thoughtful design rather than just checking aesthetic boxes, ensuring their furniture works as hard as it looks good while maintaining that timeless Nordic quality that never feels dated or trendy.
