Elevate Shelf B

The Woud Elevate Shelf B brings that modular approach to storage where you can actually build exactly what you need rather than settling for whatever's available at the furniture store. Designers Camilla Akersveen and Christopher Konings came up with this system during their early exhibition days when they needed shelving that could adapt to different spaces and requirements without requiring a toolkit or engineering degree. The matt lacquered oak veneer has this warm, natural quality that works whether you're storing books, displaying ceramics, or organizing office supplies that would otherwise take over your desk. What's smart about the dowel system is how it lets you stack and expand without any hardware - just tighten the dowels and you're done. The individual shelves handle up to 15 kg each, which is plenty for most real-world storage needs without being so robust that they feel unnecessarily heavy or expensive. The beauty of buying components separately means you can start small and expand as your storage needs change, rather than committing to a massive system that might not fit your next apartment. The clean lines and proportions work well in both residential and office environments, and the oak veneer ages nicely instead of looking worn after a few years of use. Assembly really is tool-free - you just stack, tighten, and adjust until it works for your space and stuff. Woud operates with that Danish design sensibility where furniture should solve actual problems through thoughtful engineering rather than just looking good in catalogs. Founders Mia and Torben Koed brought decades of furniture experience to creating a brand that focuses on pieces designed by people who understand how storage actually works in daily life. Their collaboration with Norwegian designers like Akersveen and Konings reflects this commitment to practical solutions that happen to be beautiful, ensuring their furniture enhances how people organize and display their possessions rather than just taking up space attractively.
