Elephant Charm (Medium) - Waterproof

There is no animal more deserving of a charm than the elephant. Not even close. They are the most emotionally intelligent creatures on earth. They grieve their dead. They remember everyone they have ever loved. They protect each other with a fierceness and a tenderness that honestly puts most of us to shame. In nearly every culture that has ever lived alongside them they are symbols of wisdom, good luck, strength, and loyalty. The elephant has been earning its symbolism for a very long time and it has earned all of it. For the wildlife lovers and the conservationists and the ones who have looked an elephant in the eye, in person or in a photograph, and felt something shift in them. For the people who collect elephant figures and the ones who just know it is their animal without being able to fully explain why. This one is yours. This charm is a side profile silhouette with the trunk curled forward and the tail tucked neatly at the back, rendered in a clean gold frame filled entirely with white mother of pearl. The pearl fill has that soft natural luminescence to it, that gentle glow that shifts slightly depending on the light, warm and cool at the same time. The gold outline traces every curve of the elephant's body and gives the whole piece a polished, finished quality that makes it look genuinely beautiful. Medium size (see photo next to dime for scale) Gold-finish stainless steel with PVD coating White mother of pearl fill Gold outlined silhouette profile Charm only, no chain included (pairs beautifully with any of our chains in the charm bar) A note on "waterproof" jewelry from me, your jewelry designer: You have probably seen brands throw around the word "waterproof" and wondered if it is actually true. As someone who has worked in jewelry for years, I do not think any jewelry is truly 100% waterproof. What I can tell you is that stainless steel with PVD coating is as close as it gets. It is the material people are talking about when they say waterproof jewelry. Shower in it, sweat in it, live your life in it. It is made to keep up with you.
