ELEMENTALS TRACE SE - Selenium - Fauna Marin

The Elementals series by Fauna Marin is specifically tailored for reef aquarium enthusiasts who seek precision in maintaining optimal water parameters. Fauna Marin offers ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) analyses, a sophisticated method for accurately measuring the chemical composition of aquarium water. These analyses provide detailed insights into the levels of various elements present in the water, enabling aquarists to fine-tune supplementation strategies for their specific needs. In addition to reporting measured values, Fauna Marin ICP analyses also offer comprehensive dosage recommendations. These recommendations cover not only the major elements like calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness but also a range of essential trace elements vital for the health and vitality of saltwater aquariums. Unlike major elements which are required in relatively high concentrations, trace elements are present in seawater in minute quantities, typically less than 1 mg/L. Despite their low concentrations, trace elements such as copper, chromium, manganese, selenium, iron, iodine, and zinc play crucial roles in various biological processes within the aquarium ecosystem. Even though they may enter the aquarium water through various sources, their deficiency can lead to significant problems. Therefore, ensuring an adequate supply of all essential trace elements is imperative for maintaining a healthy reef aquarium. Fauna Marin's single-element solutions are formulated using the purest raw materials, which are carefully selected based on the specific functions of the elements. These solutions are produced with either organic or inorganic compounds, depending on the requirements of each element. Production and quality control processes are conducted using Fauna Marin's own coral farm and ICP laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and effectiveness. With Fauna Marin's Elementals series and their accompanying ICP analyses, reef aquarium enthusiasts can achieve precise control over their aquarium's chemical composition, promoting the optimal growth and well-being of corals and other marine organisms.
