Elemental Sulfur – Pelletized Soil Amendment for pH Control

Pelletized Sulfur for Lowering Soil pH and Supporting Acid-Loving Plants Elemental Sulfur from The Soil Makers is a pelletized soil amendment designed to help correct sulfur deficiencies and gradually lower soil pH. This makes it especially useful for blueberries and other acid-loving plants that thrive in more acidic soil conditions. As elemental sulfur oxidizes in the soil, it slowly converts to sulfate, gently lowering soil pH while providing plants with essential sulfur. This gradual process supports balanced soil chemistry and improves nutrient availability for plants that require acidic growing conditions. The light green pelletized form makes application easy and clean while allowing you to visually confirm even distribution across garden beds, containers, and raised beds. Sulfur is an essential plant nutrient involved in protein synthesis and chlorophyll production, helping plants maintain strong growth and healthy foliage. Elemental Sulfur is widely used in home gardens, orchards, and ornamental landscapes to improve soil conditions and support acid-loving plants. Key Benefits: Helps lower soil pH gradually Corrects sulfur deficiencies in soil Supports protein synthesis and chlorophyll production Pelletized form for easy, even distribution Light green pellets allow visible coverage during application Ideal for acid-loving plants and berries Best For: Blueberries Rhododendrons Azaleas Gardenias Camellias Other acid-loving ornamentals and fruiting plants How to Use: Broadcast evenly around the root zone of plants. Avoid direct contact with plant stems or trunks. Water thoroughly after application to begin sulfur oxidation in the soil. Reapply according to package directions to maintain desired soil pH levels.
