Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine Semi-automatic espresso machines strike a harmonious blend between manual operation and automation. This category of machines is widely favored in various professional environments for delivering reliable outcomes while also permitting a degree of personalization. Beauty in the Details Just under 2 feet tall, the Microcasa espresso machine will become your new go-to for producing all your cafe favorites at home in true vintage Italian style. Whether it is decked out in chrome or brass and copper this beautiful machine will produce fine quality extractions for years to come. Boiler Gauge The pressure gauge on espresso machines is vital for producing top-notch espresso. It shows the pressure used to extract the coffee, ensuring that water passes through the grounds in the portafilter at the right force. Keeping this pressure steady is key to making excellent espresso shots every time. Water Level Sight Glass The water level sight glass on the boiler is an essential feature that provides a visual indication of the water level inside the boiler. This is particularly useful when filling the boiler, as it helps to prevent overfilling and ensures that the water level is at the appropriate level for safe and efficient operation. Brass Boiler Even though brass is more expensive than aluminum or stainless steel, its superior performance significantly enhances the quality of espresso produced by the machine. The high thermal conductivity of brass leads to a noticeable improvement in the temperature consistency of espresso shots during brewing. Heat Exchanger 2.5 Liter Boiler This 2.5-liter commercial espresso machine with a heat exchange boiler is a high-powered and efficient coffee-making tool specifically designed for professional use in cafes, restaurants, and other commercial environments. Here are the key features: Boiler Capacity: The 2.5-liter boiler offers plenty of space for making multiple espresso shots and steaming milk at the same time. Heat exchange machines utilize a single boiler to handle both brewing and steaming tasks. Heat Exchange: In contrast to dual boiler machines that have separate boilers for brewing and steaming, heat exchange machines employ a single boiler with a heat exchange tube. This tube allows hot water from the boiler to heat the brewing water as it flows through, ensuring consistent brewing temperature. Simultaneous Brewing and Steaming: Thanks to the heat exchange system, baristas can brew espresso shots while simultaneously frothing milk for lattes or cappuccinos. This simultaneous operation is essential during peak hours in a commercial setting. Safety in Mind This home espresso machine come with a couple of hand safety features. It has a boiler pressure relief valve on top, in case too much pressure builds up. Elektra made sure to have the handles made of Bakelite to keep touches cool. It also comes with a built-in safety thermostat prevents meltdown if left without water.
