Electrocompaneit EMC 1 MKV Reference CD Player

Electrocompaniet EMC 1 MKV Reference CD Player Since 1998, Electrocompaniet has crafted one of the finest-sounding CD players on the market, the EMC 1 UP. The new EMC 1 MKV builds on this legacy, featuring a refined design with a new drive unit for enhanced performance. It also incorporates updated electronics, improved mechanics for a more rigid construction, and a redesigned chassis to align with the contemporary MKII editions of our other products. Technology This design prevents mechanical distortions from affecting the laser pickup, ensuring optimal playback quality. Shielded Construction The EMC 1 MKV features a no-compromise mechanical design with five distinct housings that shield analogue, digital, transport, transformer, and controller circuitry from interference. Made in Norway These all-in-one spike feet eliminate the common issue of surface damage caused by conventional spikes while effectively isolating the equipment from external vibrations. Balanced Audio The player is equipped with a fully balanced D/A converter and discrete analog audio circuitry, delivering exceptional sound quality.
