ELDERBERRY Wallpaper in Moss Sample

Folklore and mysticism from around the world attribute a common quality to the Elder Tree: protection. In different cultures, the Elder Tree has been said to shield against evil spirits, lightning, and even the ravages of aging. The Elder’s berries, little black pearls packed with antioxidants and vitamin C, can be crushed into syrups and teas that are said to boost immunity, tame inflammation and reduce stress. The design’s layout and motifs were inspired by the early twentieth century book jackets of a German publisher called Insel Bücherei.
