El tercer ojo

El tercer ojo 2006  ( Unframed )  Artist: Juan Antonio Guirado (1932–2010) Medium: Acrylic on paper Dimensions: 50 x 64 cm / 19.7 x 25.25 in  Catalogue No.: JAG/P 258 – ABS EX 20 Location: United States Estate Valuation (2016): €12,000 A luminous and meditative composition from Guirado’s abstract period, El tercer ojo ("The Third Eye") radiates with warmth, balance, and metaphysical energy. This undated work on paper uses vibrant, translucent layers of orange and yellow acrylic to create a subtle mandala-like form, suggesting inner sight, solar force, and spiritual awakening. Minimalist in composition yet rich in atmosphere, the painting draws the viewer inward through concentric light fields that pulse from a central sun-like core. El tercer ojo offers a powerful example of Guirado’s shift from expressive landscapes to inner vision — a hallmark of his Intra-Realist philosophy in later years.
