Eggshell Black Alligator Exotic Leather Strap

There are certain watches whose construction, design, and special attributes call for a watch strap of unrivaled quality, attention to detail, and origin. When a simple calf leather strap won’t do, we turn to a mainstay within the world of haute horlogerie — namely, those produced from exotic leathers. Lizard, stingray, and alligator flank each have a unique set of characteristics that set them apart from more typical bovine-derived fare, and that more than justify the price of admission. Proudly handmade in Europe, Analog:Shift’s new collection of premium exotic leather watch straps are the perfect accessory to the best timepieces in your collection, from precious-metal perpetual calendars to priceless vintage tool watches and everything in between. The Black Alligator Flank Strap, finished with small, rounded matte scales from the side of the belly, is the ideal choice for an heirloom watch. Featuring exceptional texture and durability, it’s available in 16mm, 17mm, and 18mm lug widths, measures 75mm on the buckle side and 115mm on the longer side, and is just 1.8mm thick, with a stitchless, clean-edge finish that ensures a premium look and feel. But the exotic leather used in its construction is only part of the finished product: besides the lizard hide, it also features Velodon reinforcement — a premium fibrous-weave material used in luxury leather goods to prevent stretch — and Zermatt Calfskin Lining by Tanneries Haas, a special hypoallergenic leather liner used to prolong strap life by providing resistance to moisture, sweat, and skin oils. Paired with a handsome stainless steel or gold-tone pin buckle, the Black Alligator Flank Strap is a one-and-done solution to spruce up your favorite watch. With excellent handfeel and gorgeous looks, you’ll want one for every standout timepiece in your collection. Please keep in mind that these straps are all handmade from high-quality leathers. As such, there will be slight variations in color and texture from strap to strap, and yours may differ slightly from those pictured. Crafted from natural materials, they will develop their own characteristics and patina with age and wear — just like your timepieces!
