In the 1930s, they transitioned to using materials that were less detrimental to the tortoise population. Over 160 years later, this 6th generation family-run company continues to embrace form, material, and quality. Instead of mass-producing products using injection molding, they use hand-crafted methods to ensure quality craftsmanship in everything they make.
