We've used it both ways after we ordered more balls for the ball pit side as there are no where near enough with what they give you. But she loves it so far. 4.0 out of 5 stars Love it for the trampoline! - We have not tried out the ball pit because we have to order more balls (there weren't enough to fill). But my son LOVES the trampoline! It sits in our living room so even when we are watching TV he can be active.
