A one-of-a-kind halo ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a large, square-shaped centerpiece. The centerpiece is organized around a bezel-set, oval cut ruby. The luscious red stone has an approximate total carat weight of .70ct. The ruby is surrounded by 2, concentric frames, which are both encrusted with bead-set mine cut diamonds. Together, the 32 mine cut diamonds which adorn the centerpiece have an approximate total carat weight of 2.60ctw, and display I/J color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The gallery of the ring features a lovey cutout design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A striking piece, this ring would make a special addition to any antique jewelry collection! Measurements: The ring is currently a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.10mm. The centerpiece has a height of 7/8" and a width of 3/4". Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
