Eduard 1/72 MiG-21R - 70147

Eduard 1/72 MiG-21R - 70147 brings one of the Cold War’s most iconic reconnaissance aircraft to your bench in a highly detailed and accurate kit. The MiG-21R “Fishbed-H” was a dedicated recon variant of the legendary Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21, equipped with specialized camera pods and sensors for tactical intelligence missions. This kit captures the sleek lines and distinctive profile of the MiG-21R with Eduard’s trademark precision. Expect finely recessed panel lines, crisp molding, and excellent fit that makes it an enjoyable build whether you’re returning to 1/72 scale or adding to a growing Cold War collection. The reconnaissance pods and variant-specific details set this kit apart from standard MiG-21 fighters, giving it a unique presence on the shelf. Inside the box, you’ll find high-quality plastic parts along with Eduard’s excellent decal sheet offering multiple marking options, allowing you to build aircraft from different operators and eras. The cockpit and surface detail are well-defined out of the box, with plenty of opportunity for further detailing if you want to take it to the next level. This is a great choice for modelers interested in Soviet aviation, Cold War subjects, or anyone looking for a compact build that still delivers strong visual impact. Perfect for both intermediate builders and experienced modelers who appreciate accuracy and clean engineering.
