Parfumo Rating: 8.1/10 (Scent), 7.9/10 (Longevity), 7.5/10 (Sillage), 9.2/10 (Value) "A spicy-sweet scent marketed as oriental, creamy, and fougère, with a peppery DNA similar to Dior Sauvage Elixir and Lattafa Asad, but distinguished by added creaminess, softness, and a rounded vanilla note in the drydown." Key Notes (via Parfumo): Top: Ginger, Pink Pepper, Black Pepper Middle: Frankincense, Lavender, Cypress Base: Labdanum, Patchouli, Vanilla Longevity: Above average (all day on skin, days on clothes) • Projection: Strong (first 3 hours), then moderate • Unisex (leans masculine) Top Parfumo Reviews: "This is a fine member of the Sauvage Elixir DNA family. Gaith takes roughly the same approach as Asad but goes even further with the creaminess... once they are on skin and start to dry down I find the lavender and frankincense mid of Gaith to come across a bit better... they are strong enough and will last you the work day." (8/10 Scent, 8/10 Longevity, 8/10 Sillage; compares to Asad and Sauvage Elixir). (2025) "In the drydown, it is indeed somewhat different. It comes across as a little softer and sweeter than the other two fragrances, thanks to a very rounded and truly successful vanilla... It has a strong sillage for the first three hours... longevity as above average because I could smell it on myself throughout the entire day." (8/10 Scent, 8/10 Longevity, 8/10 Sillage; blind buy, distinguishes from Dior Sauvage Elixir and Lattafa Asad by vanilla and softer progression).
