The Ecolatch® Double Leg Retractable Davit (Ecolny2RD) is a robust and user-friendly solution designed to facilitate controlled entry, retrieval, and rescue of personnel from confined spaces. Why Choose the Ecolatch® Double Leg Retractable Davit (Ecolny2RD)? Enhanced Safety and Stability: The Ecolny2RD features a unique double-leg design that provides exceptional stability and support during confined space operations. This dual-leg configuration offers a wider base and increased load capacity compared to single-leg davits, ensuring a more secure platform for rescue personnel and equipment. Controlled Descent and Retrieval: Each leg of the davit integrates with a winch system (not included) to enable controlled descent and retrieval of workers. This allows for a safe and secure environment for both the worker and the rescue team above. Efficient Deployment and Retraction: The retractable davit arms extend and retract smoothly, minimizing setup time and simplifying the rescue process. This efficient deployment is crucial for swift response in confined space emergencies. Increased Versatility: The Ecolny2RD's double-leg design allows for more versatile configurations compared to single-leg davits. It can be adapted to various confined space entry points and can be used in conjunction with a spreader bar (not included) to create a wider lifting area for bulky equipment or multiple personnel retrieval. Durable and Reliable Construction: Manufactured from high-strength materials, the Ecolny2RD is built to withstand demanding worksite conditions. It is designed for long-lasting performance and reliable operation, ensuring safety and peace of mind during confined space rescue. How to Use the Ecolatch® Double Leg Retractable Davit (Ecolny2RD): Secure Placement: Position the Ecolny2RD on a stable and level surface near the confined space entry point. Ensure the base is properly secured to prevent tipping or movement during operation. Attach Winch Systems: Following the manufacturer's instructions, connect each leg of the Ecolny2RD to a compatible winch system designed for confined space rescue operations. Extend and Lower: Extend both davit arms to the desired length and use the winch systems to lower a rescuer or retrieval equipment into the confined space. The retractable design allows for smooth and controlled descent. Retrieval: Once the worker is secured within the retrieval harness, use the winch systems to raise them safely out of the confined space. Invest in Safety and Efficiency for Confined Space Rescue!
