ECM/Profitec AquaAroma Crema Water Softener (2 Pack)

The ECM/Profitec AquaAroma Crema water softener protects your espresso machine from limescale buildup while maintaining optimal water quality for better-tasting espresso. This cartridge installs directly into your machine's water reservoir to provide continuous filtration — no plumbing required. Hard water is the enemy of espresso equipment longevity, and this simple filter is your first line of defense against costly scale damage. Key Features Direct Tank Installation: Fits ECM and Profitec machines with removable water reservoirs Ion Exchange Resin: Reduces calcium and magnesium that cause limescale 2-Pack Value: Two filters for 4-6 months of protection (depending on water hardness) Replacement Interval: Every 2-3 months for average water; monthly for very hard water Taste Improvement: Cleaner water yields clearer, brighter espresso flavors This is preventative maintenance that pays for itself — one descaling service or boiler replacement costs far more than a year's supply of filters. Clive's team can help you determine the right replacement schedule based on your local water profile, and our espresso education resources cover water quality best practices from beginner to pro.
