Eclor Graines

This delightful French advertising poster for Éclor seeds captures the optimistic spirit of mid-century gardening culture with irresistible charm. A spirited brown donkey, eyes fixed on a dangling carrot, pulls a green cart overflowing with brilliantly colored tulips and blooms across a cheerful blue background. The loosely painted, almost childlike style brings warmth and humor to commercial advertising. The composition cleverly positions the Éclor brand label at left, with its bold yellow typography against black, while the action sweeps diagonally across the picture plane. The artist, de la Vasselais, employs expressive brushwork that gives the piece an appealing hand-painted quality, from the donkey's eager expression to the loosely rendered flowers cascading from the cart. A standout piece for collectors of French advertising or anyone seeking vintage artwork that combines agricultural heritage with genuine visual delight. The poster's large format and vibrant palette make it a commanding presence that brings both color and whimsy to any space.
