Eclipse

Acrylic on Canvas. Currently unframed; may frame in advance of show. 48 x 36 x 1.5in.  Eclipse is a study of how form, light, and texture transform our perception of space and time. It is intended to be both dynamic and serene, as the viewer moves from clean lines to sudden curves, diffuse shadows to luminous silence. We could invent 10 different stories about it, but they'd all be true - I love how the light changes as you move around it, and that everyone "sees" something different in it (a female figure, a face in profile, the sky at twilight...)
