Echo Shadow X Rods

Echo Shadow X fly rods were designed by veteran Euro Nymph guru Pete Erikson, 2018 fly fishing world champion Norm Maktima, and expert Mariusz Wrobewski to create a rod that performs at the highest level. Shadow X rods are extremely light in hand and offer the most sensitivity and feel, which is extremely important when tight line nymphing. These rods feature a down locking reel seat to properly balance the rod, and come with three removable weights and a removable fighting butt to get the perfect balance.  To balance the rod to your liking, simply add or remove the weights until you achieve the perfect balance.  The weights can be stored in a little pocket sewn-into the rod sock when not in use.   The Echo Shadow X rods can also be used for traditional casting and fishing techniques and would be a great rod for chironomid fishing in your favorite lakes. For traditional methods, a line size one size heavier is recommended (for example, use a 4wt line on your SHX-3100 Shadow II rod). Echo Shadow X rods are all 4-piece rods and come with a cloth covered rod tube and rod sock. They feature SIC stripping guides and hard chrome guides, black anodized aluminum reel seats, and have Echo's original owner, lifetime warranty.
