Echo Overcast Fly Rod

Echo Overcast Fly Rod Built for Maximum Line Speed in Saltwater Conditions When Flip Pallot challenged ECHO to answer a simple question—“Who wouldn’t want more line speed?”—the OverCast series was born. Designed in collaboration with Tim Rajeff, OverCast fly rods are purpose-built for saltwater anglers facing the usual saltwater challenges: wind, distance, accuracy demands, and heavier flies. After extensive testing, the team determined that increased line speed starts with a precisely engineered, longer lever. The result is a 9’3” rod that balances power, control, and casting efficiency without compromise. Flip’s vision pushed ECHO beyond traditional design limits, prioritizing performance over cost and redefining what a high-end saltwater fly rod should be. *Does not come in hard tube* Echo Overcast Fly Rod Specs: Optimized 9’3” Length for increased line speed and control 6–10 Weight Range designed for demanding saltwater applications Matte Black Blank with Red Wraps for a clean, purposeful aesthetic Ceracoil Stripper Guides with SIC Inserts for durability and reduced friction TICN-Coated Snake Guides to further improve line speed Flip Pallot–Designed Modified Full Wells Grip with exposed upper reel seat Custom Reel Seat with Visual cues for reel feet and integrated hook keeper Line-Weight Identification Wraps using a classic, at-a-glance thread system ECHO Rod Roll: impact-resistant, roll-style rod case that can carry up to three rods and meets carry-on requirements
