Echo Lift fly rods replaced the very popular Echo Base rods. Both the Echo Base and the new Echo Lift fly rods were designed to target the beginner fly angler, and to provide a quality fly rod at very affordable price. Lift rods are a little bit slower action than what the Echo Base rods were, which is important for new casters.
