Echo Ion Fly Reels

The Echo Ion Fly Reel features a hybrid design of cast aluminum that is then machined to provide the benefits of a machined bar stock reel without the high price associated with fully-machined reels. Echo die cast reels, like the Ion, also feature an impact-resistant matte black finish to provide a sharp-looking, long-lasting piece of fly fishing equipment. Available in four sizes to fit just about any fly rod, this reel is ideal for both single and double-handed versions. However, since the Ion Reel from Echo has stainless steel internal components, we suggest using it for freshwater environments instead of saltwater which could cause corrosion. Hybrid design combines cast aluminum with some machining Works well on both single and double-handed fly rods Impact-resistant finish with stainless steel internal components Intended for freshwater use
