Echo Compact Spey Series

ECHO COMPACT SPEY SERIES - With trends in modern spey lines getting increasingly compact, it was time the rods were designed with these new lines in mind. These shorter spey rods are less tiring to fish all day, so you can play more and work less. By using their years of spey rod development experience along with the expertise of spey casting champion Mariusz Wrobewski, Echo produced their most advanced spey rods ever. Spey lines have evolved since they hit the mainstream, yet the rods have remained largely the same. So Echo started from scratch to find the ideal flex and length to most effectively fish todays most popular types of compact two-hand lines. As part of the greater family of new spey rods (Full Spey, Compact Spey, Trout Spey), these new rods are dialed for how todays anglers fish their two hand rods. The Compact Spey comes in a standard 12² length in 6wt, 7wt and 8wt perfect for modern compact spey lines.
