Echinodorus 'Ozelot'

Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is a visually appealing hybrid resulting from the crossbreeding of Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus ‘Barthii’. It forms a rosette that can reach heights of 20-50 cm and spans 20-40 cm in width. What distinguishes this plant is the elliptical black spots on its red-brown leaves, which inspired its name 'Ozelot'. These spots are most pronounced on the youngest leaves, and unlike many other spotted Echinodorus varieties, 'Ozelot' retains its distinctive spots even under low light conditions. This plant is undemanding and makes an excellent choice for beginners.
