Catrike MAX eCat

The durability and ease-of-use of the standard MAX with the added spark of the latest in electric assist systems from industry leader Bosch. The result is a MAX with the perfect combination of maximum efficiency, comfort and riding enjoyment. The efficient and versatile Active Line Plus (Class 1) electric-assist drive mated to a 1 x 11 drivetrain (11 - 42 cassette / 44 tooth chainring) provides dynamic performance – guaranteeing an authentic riding sensation with minimal pedaling resistance. It delivers active and sporty acceleration even at low cadences, offering powerful assistance as soon as you step on the pedals. In addition, the system’s multi-sensor technology and fast information processing ensure optimum interaction between you and your eCAT. The MAX eCAT is made with Bosch components and meets or exceeds all current safety standards and is UL2849 certified. The Bosch Active Line Plus electric-assist system features four levels of power assistance: Eco - 40%, Tour - 100%, Sport - 180% and Turbo - 270%. Each level also features a maximum drive torque to ensure smooth, gentle acceleration. The Bosch Active Line Plus delivers assistance up to 20 mph and a cadence of 105. Built for derailleur based drivetrains, it features gear shift detection to provide seamless power through the full range of gears. The MAX eCAT comes stock with our new SUPERNOVA Light System. Powered directly by your eCAT, SUPERNOVA is at the forefront of award-winning design and technology for bicycle safety lighting systems. The eCAT light system includes the SUPERNOVA MINI 2 headlight and TL3 PRO taillight to help keep you visible day and night without charging separate batteries. The Catrike MAX eCat ships in 1-2 weeks after we receive the order.  We charge a flat rate of $369 for shipping via freight in most of the Continental US. We do not ship Catrikes outside of the US. There are few zip codes in the US that are more expensive - we will reach out to discuss if this is an issue. It’s usually the very rural locations. The bike comes 100% fully assembled. We require that all shipped Catrikes are ordered with a boom adjust kit so you just adjust the boom to the proper length, adjust the seat and handlebars to your liking and go for a ride! If you order additional parts with the bike, our website may charge you additional shipping. When we receive the order, we will refund that amount. A final note about ordering bikes on our website: We will always call you after you place your order to discuss your build, make sure all of the options are correct and ensure that it is the right bike for you. If we need to make changes, additions or cancellations, we will happily do that - we want to make sure you are happy with your new bike. We will NEVER just ship out a bike without a conversation.   Frame & Geometry Wheel Base                     40 in  Wheel Track                    34 in    Total Width                     37.25 in Total Length**                 74 in  Seat Angle                      47/57 deg Weight                             57 lb  Seat Height                     14.25 in  Seat Width                      16 in BB Height**                    16.25 in  Ground Clearance         6 in    Total Height                    32.25 in  Height w/ Seat Folded   25.25in Turning Circle                 14.5 ft  Turning Radius               7.25 ft   Rider Weight Limit***   425 lb    Rider X-Seam Range      39/46 in (+5” w/ XL)   Components Brakes Avid BB7 Disc Brakes Brake Levers Catrike Locking Brake Levers Rear Derailleur SRAM APEX 11-Speed Shifters SRAM 500 TT Bar End Shifter Crankset FSA Alloy Crankarms Chainrings 44 Tooth Chain Guard FSA Guard Cassette SRAM 11/42 11 Speed Chain KMC e11  Idler T-Cycle Sport Power Idler 15T Headsets FSA Zero Stack Front Tires 406 Schwalbe Big Apple Performance 2.0 Rear Tire 406 Schwalbe Big Apple Performance 2.0   Standard Features Rear Fender Flag Mount & Flag Mirrycle Rear View Mirror Multi Purpose Clipless Pedals Computer Sensor Mount No Brake Steer Self Centering Steering Ackermann Steering Compensation Structural Front Boom Quick-Release Indexing Boom Clamp Aluminum Rod Ends Adjustable Assist Bars 12x142 Rear Thru Axle 20mm Front QR Thru Axle
