Nylon vortex impeller. Dual mechanical seals. Built-in thermal overload. Must run fully underwater. 1/3, 1/2, and 1 HP  available in 115 V or 230 V. Use it for waterfalls, streams, and pond circulation. It is a submersible pump. Do not run it dry or half out of the water. A dirty skimmer net that starves the intake will cook the motor. That is not warranty. Pick voltage first 115 V for a normal house outlet. 230 V if that is what the pad is wired for. Do not put a 230 V pump on 115 V. Then pick HP by head Measure vertical lift from the pump to the top of the falls, plus friction in the pipe. If you need 20 ft of head, the 1/3 HP is already down near 1,560 GPH. Step up.
