There is no open pond. This is not the same as the stream dimensions — the extra liner area allows proper edge overlap, waterfall head coverage, and the flexibility to add curves and width variation to the stream.   Geotextile Underlayment Non-woven geotextile fabric cushions the liner against sharp rocks, roots, and abrasive soil.
