Easy Wood Tools Easy Faceplate Ring

One of the advantages of using a faceplate ring is that you can fasten it to a bowl blank for rough shaping and drying. Better still, leaving the ring attached to the rough-turned bowl makes re-chucking after drying quick for final shaping and finishing. A faceplate ring also offers flexibility by allowing you to take work on and off the lathe as needed without loss of concentricity. EWT faceplate rings are precision machined from solid steel for strength and durability and then nickel-plated to help minimize corrosion. Each EWT Faceplate ring includes a set of wood screws.
