Eastman VC80 Cello Package

The Samuel Eastman Model 80 cello is built to handle real use—especially for younger students and school programs. It uses laminated wood construction, which makes it more durable and less sensitive to temperature and humidity swings (a big deal with cellos). For players, it’s reliable and easy to work with. It holds tuning well, responds predictably under the bow, and gives a solid, full sound without being finicky. Teachers like these because they hold up. They don’t crack easily, don’t need constant maintenance, and can take the bumps that come with hauling a cello around. It’s set up with good parts where it matters—ebony fingerboard and fittings, plus a Despiau bridge—so playability is still there even though it’s built tough. Great option for beginners, school use, or families that want something durable without stepping into a higher price point. Comes in a full range of sizes, so you can get the right fit as the player grows.
