Easter at Ephesus

By Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles This 2015 album by the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles offers beautiful renditions of traditional chants and hymns for the Easter season, including Palestrina’s “Sicut Cervus,” the jubilant “Jesus Christ Is Ris’n Today,” and several delightful pieces original to the Community. “The holy season of Easter spans fifty days from Easter (tracks 1-18) through Ascension and the Feast of Mary, Queen of Apostles (tracks 19-23) and finally crowned by Pentecost (tracks 24-27.) We pray that all who hear these hymns will be strengthened in their faith in the Risen Lord.” (Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles) * * * Track List: This Is the Day Regina Caeli (Aichinger) The Clouds of Night Victimae Paschali Alle Psallite Cum Luya Christ the Lord Hath Risen Haec Dies  Pascha Nostrum Jesus Christ Is Ris’n Today Regina Caeli Jubila Alleluia Ye Sons Sicut Cervus O Sons and Daughters Regina Caeli Salve Festa Dies Haec Dies  Exultemus Et Laetemur Her Triumph Ascendit Deus Sing We Triumphant Hymns of Praise Oculus Non Vidit Concordi Laetitia Queen of Priests Veni Sancte Spiritus Confirma Hoc Deus Veni Creator Come Holy Ghost
