Yes. It pops in and right out with ease. What are the Eartune Max made of? The Eartune Max are made with medical-grade silicone. Other earplugs fall out of my ear, will Eartune Max fall out? No. Custom molded Eartune Max make contact with multiple parts of your ear canal to ensure exceptional retention. How long will the Eartune Max last? The Eartune Max are made with medical grade silicone, which has a usable life of 5 years. However, many of our customers are on their 7th and 8th year of usage. How do I clean the Eartune Max? Gently rinse the Eartune Max with warm water and mild neutral soap. Then rinse with clean water and let dry completely before use. How should I carry the Eartune Max? Each pair of the Eartune Max come with a carrying case. When not in use, we recommend storing them away in the provided carrying case. Can I visit the ADV. Lab and take ear impressions there? I live in a very hot/cold place; would there be any issues wearing the Eartune Max? No, Eartune Max are made with medical grade silicone which will expand and contract minimally with different climate. Should I visit a hearing specialist before getting an ear impression or purchasing Eartune Max? Not necessarily. If you have a medical need pertaining to your ears, then see the appropriate doctor or specialist. Otherwise, you can make an appointment and the licensed individual will assess your ear canal during the impression appointment. My ears are itchy. What can I do? Itchy ears can mean multiple things. The first thing you want to do is to clean your Eartune Max with soap and water to ensure their cleanliness. Don’t use rubbing alcohol or harsh detergents as they can break down the silicone over time. My Eartune Max hurt my ear, what should I do? A little bit of soreness is normal in the first week of wearing the Eartune Max. Your ear canal should get accustomed to them within a week. However, if the soreness persists please email us HERE. What activities are good to bring the Eartune Max to? The Eartune Max are highly recommended to be used during construction, mechanic work and more. How can I gift the Eartune Max to my better half? Place the order under your name and leave us a note; and send us his/her ear impressions. What is the Tech-care Ear-gel included and why do I need it? Tech-care Ear-gel is a water-soluble gel that is safe to use in the ear canal. It’s meant to help the custom tips slide into your ear canal easily. Not everyone needs it so try to insert the Eartune Max without it first and only use as needed. How should I use the Tech-care Ear-gel? Place a small amount of Tech-care Ear-gel around the tip (do not cover the sound bore) to help lubricate it for insertion. Will I need to use Tech-care Ear-gel every time?
