Early Rotating Hardware Cabinet with Pull Drawers

A rare oak rotating cabinet featuring 40 small drawers arranged across multiple faceted sides. Designed for apothecary, hardware, or mercantile use, the cabinet was built to store and organize small parts, remedies, or fittings in a compact footprint. Its octagonal form allowed maximum storage while permitting easy access from all sides, a clever solution for crowded workshops and retail counters. The cabinet rests on a sturdy base with a central rotating mechanism, allowing the unit to turn smoothly. Each drawer is fitted with a metal pull and inset label slot, a hallmark of early 20th century utility furniture built for both efficiency and durability. The golden oak finish shows a warm, time-earned patina, bringing out the grain of the hardwood. The piece exhibits surface wear consistent with long use, including finish rubbing, minor edge nicks, and drawer wear. All drawers remain intact and operational. 23.5"W x 23.5"D x 35.5"H Drawers: 4.5" x 9"D x 5"H (x5) 6"W x 3.25"D x 5"H (x5) 5.75"W x 9.25"D x 5"H (x5) 5"W x 13.5"D x 5"H (x5) 4.5"W x 3.25"D x 5"H (x5) 6.5"W x 3.5"D x 5"H (x5) 4.75"W x 6.25"D x 5"H (x5) 5.75"W x 3.5"D x 5"H (x5) Please refer to photos regarding condition.
