Loose Leaf  Description Earl Grey tea, a timeless classic in the world of aromatic teas, is a blend that speaks to both tradition and modern sophistication. Originating from a recipe dating back to the early 19th century, this tea is named after the 2nd Earl Grey, a British Prime Minister, who reputedly received a gift of this scented tea from a Chinese dignitary. The defining characteristic of Earl Grey tea is the unique infusion of oil extracted from the rind of the Bergamot orange, a fragrant citrus fruit known for its sharp and sunny aroma. This oil imparts a distinctive floral and slightly citrus note, setting Earl Grey apart from all other teas. The base of Earl Grey is a bold and robust black tea. Upon brewing, Earl Grey tea presents a rich, deep amber color, beckoning with its bright, inviting aroma. The taste is a perfect harmony of the robustness of black tea with the aromatic, citrusy zing of Bergamot. This tea is renowned for its refreshing and uplifting qualities, with a flavor that is both comforting and invigorating. Ideal for a cozy morning start or a soothing afternoon break, Earl Grey can be enjoyed plain, or with a splash of milk or a slice of lemon to enhance its vibrant character. This tea not only offers a delightful sensory experience but also carries a touch of aristocratic history, making every cup a moment to savor. Whether you are a tea aficionado or a curious newcomer, Earl Grey tea promises a journey of flavor that is both enriching and enchanting. Enjoy!
