This ear crimper tool clamps metal bands with a protruding “ear,” the sides of which are forced together to tighten the ring around a hose. The metal band is fitted around the hose which is to be connected. These are also known as pinch clamps, Oetiker clamps, and ear clamps. Clamps are sold separately. Some products on burgertuning.com require this tool.
