Eagle Rare Bourbon Eagle Rare Special Release Cigars A classic single-barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, Eagle Rare 750 mL is matured for 10 years to develop rich complexity. Elegant golden-amber in color, it delivers aromas of toffee, candied almonds, and vanilla, followed by oak, rye spice, and light fruit on the palate. The finish is long and dry, featuring leather and cocoa notes—smooth enough for sipping neat, yet bold enough to stand up in an Old Fashioned. Tying it together: Eagle Rare Special Release Cigars Inspired by the bourbon’s depth and refinement, these cigars are crafted to pair perfectly with each sip. Wrapped in a rich Dominican leaf, they are medium-bodied and balanced: Aroma & pre-light: Earthy cedar and toasted oat with hints of dark cocoa. First third: Creamy leather unfolds, weaving in honeyed sweetness and subtle spice. Midpoint: A well-rounded core of espresso and nutmeg emerges, echoing the bourbon’s oak and rye character. Final third: Smooth caramel and a faint tobacco bitterness linger on a long, warm finish. 🥃 Why they complement each other Shared flavor threads: The bourbon’s vanilla-toffee sweetness mirrors the cigars’ caramel-honey tones, while the oak and spice interplay matches the cigars’ espresso and pepper notes. Balance of strength: Eagle Rare’s 90-proof intensity is well-suited to a medium-bodied Churchill, ensuring neither the drink nor the smoke overpowers the other. Pacing: Aged elegance in both the bottle and the bundle; meant to be savored slowly, with the cigar’s third reflecting the bourbon’s earthy finish.
