E3D Bambu Lab Diamondback Hot End for A1 A1 Mini and A2L

Description These premium HotEnds are an official collaboration between E3D, DiamondBack, and Bambu Lab - bringing the most extreme abrasion resistance possible for your A1 machine. E3D are very proud to be the only officially approved manufacturer of aftermarket Bambu Lab HotEnds. Why Choose Diamond? Thanks to being made from the hardest material on Earth, these Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) nozzles deliver unmatched wear-resistance and versatility compared to all other options on the market. They are composed of thousands of tiny diamond crystals with a proprietary binder that forms a matrix of crystals joined with diamond-to-diamond bonds. And what does that mean for you? In essence, with this upgrade you’re getting ultra-durable nozzles that withstand even the toughest 3D printing challenges. You'll be able to print anything on your A1 – from fibre-filled to metal and ceramic filaments – without needing to worry about pesky materials destroying the nozzle. Precision Printing Your prints will benefit from the nozzle’s solid diamond tip which improves precision – making for more aesthetically beautiful prints compared to the stock HotEnd’s output. You heard that right, a SOLID diamond is going to help make your prints as pristine as they can be. Longevity The PCD used in these HotEnds significantly extends nozzle life. So once you’ve installed your upgrade you won’t have to worry about getting a new nozzle again. Better for your pocket, and the planet.  Smooth and Strong The PCD used in the HotEnd also provides best-in-class thermal conductivity which improves interlayer adhesion for stronger prints. And to top it all off the low coefficient of friction combined with a polished tip creates super smooth top layers with an ironing-like effect.  Effortless Upgrade These magnetic HotEnds couldn’t be easier to install. The heater and temperature wires are built into the tool head so all you need to do is unclip the existing HotEnd, slot in the new one and you’re good to go. No physical adjustment to the mount or part-cooling is required.   Please note:  Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk of a jam. Please check your filament manufacturer’s datasheet for recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/HotEnd you choose is suitable for your use case. Please note, these HotEnds are not compatible with the Bambu Lab H2 Series printers.  Documentation Bambu Lab A1 DiamondBack HotEnd Datasheet What's In The Box 1 x Assembled DiamondBack HotEnd for Bambu Lab 0.40 mm or 0.60 mm Printer Compatibility Bambu Lab A1 Bambu Lab A1 Mini Frequently Asked Questions Will this void my warranty with Bambu? These HotEnds are rated to 320°C. Do I need to make any changes to the slicer profile after upgrading to a DiamondBack Bambu Lab HotEnd? We recommend the standard slicer profiles in Bambu Studio as a starting point when printing with Diamondback HotEnds. However, it may be possible for print performance to be further improved by tuning for your specific filament. Are these HotEnds compatible with the BambuLab H2 Series printers? No, they are only compatible with the A1 and A1 Mini. Can a DiamondBack nozzle print any filament? Yes, the nozzle itself has the ability to print any material. However, please bear in mind that despite using the nozzle you will still be limited by the temperature restrictions of your printer. What materials are the HotEnds made from? The heatsink is aluminium, the heatbreak is titanium, the body of the hotside is nickel-plated copper and the nozzle tip is PCD.
