E36 Trunk Latch Reinforcement

A trunk latch reinforcement good enough to look OEM. RAW are in stock and available to ship now. Common failures of the E36 include the rear trunk sheet metal latch points cracking over time. If you're running a wing or have a ham fisted spouse, you probably have cracked sheet metal. Worse, the sheet metal can completely fail and your trunk latch will have nothing to mount to. This part can prevent a failure before it happens, as it is occurring, or fix a completely failed latch mount! This trunk latch reinforcement plate is made from 12-gauge stainless steel. The mounting holes are countersunk to accept the OEM latch bolts for a seamless look. No additional hardware is required, no welding, and install just takes a few minutes. I believe firmly in certain "fixes" needing to blend in. There are no tacky logos or unnecessary ///M badges, just a solid reinforcement plate in the correct shape. Fits: All E36 Coupe, and Sedan. "Leave mine RAW" This option will ship with countersunk holes and no other finishing work. You can sand them, media blast, paint, or just run as-is. *Stainless steel is suitable to be left bare or color match with your OEM paint code.
