BMW E30 188mm Dual Mount Differential Cover

High-Performance Dual Mount Differential Cover for BMW E30 – CNC Billet Aluminum with Integrated Cooling This upgraded dual-mount differential cover is the ultimate solution for BMW E30 owners pushing the limits on track, street, or strip. Engineered for high-horsepower applications, this cover replaces the factory single-ear differential mount with a reinforced dual-mount design, drastically improving drivetrain stability under extreme load. The stock E30 differential cover was never designed to handle the abuse of boosted applications, heavy track use, and high horsepower swaps. Common failures include cracked mounts, broken covers, and excessive drivetrain movement. This CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum cover eliminates those weak points, delivering unmatched strength, cooling, and durability for demanding builds. Unlike the brittle OEM cast aluminum design, this upgraded cover includes a secondary differential mounting ear for enhanced structural support. It integrates with the chassis via a reinforced steel bracket and billet adapter plate—bolt-in or weld-in—providing superior rigidity and improved driveline response. Ideal for track days, clutch kicks, and drag launches. Advanced cooling features address a major flaw in the factory E30 differential cover. Oversized external fins, optimized with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), increase surface area for rapid heat dissipation. A built-in air duct boosts airflow around the diff housing, maintaining lower fluid temperatures under sustained abuse. For additional cooling, the cover supports optional -6AN fittings for an external differential cooler. A 1/8 NPT port is included for temperature sensor compatibility. Precision-engineered and black anodized for corrosion resistance, this E30 differential cover fits all 188mm differentials. It retains OEM-style bushing fitment and is compatible with most aftermarket sway bars. A removable air duct provides easy access to fill, drain, and sensor ports, simplifying maintenance.
