E-Rod® Versit XP

Meet the E-Rod® Versit XP, the extra power version of one of our most popular rods. We kept what anglers love about the Versit, including the same trusted reel seat, the same Quick Swap E-Butt, and the same spiral wrapped guides that keep reel torque out of your hands. Then we built the rest for heavier work. A USA made composite blank with a 3K carbon exterior steps the XP up to a Medium Heavy, 30-50 lb class rod. It's ready for 250-400 gram jigs and up to 32 oz of lead, with a moderate action that keeps steady pressure on strong fish. Upgraded guides and the same Fuji SiC tip top found on our Elite keep your line running smooth under serious load, while the longer 4.5 inch EVA Power Grip puts extra leverage in your hands when a big fish digs for the bottom. Specifications Total Weight (with battery): 1.7 lb Assembled Length: 78.5 in Line Rating (Braid/Mono): 20 - 40 lb Jig Weight: 250 - 400 g Max Lead Weight (for Bottom Fishing): 32 oz Rod Action: Moderate Rod Power: Medium-Heavy Electrical Output (Max Discharge): 14.5 v / 24 A Charge Time (Empty to Full): <90 min Run Time (Feet of Retrieve per Charge): 20 - 30 k Cell Life (Charge Cycles): 1,500+ Includes rod blade, E-Butt, and AC fast charger Features Composite Blank with 3K Carbon Exterior: The Versit XP is built on a premium composite blank wrapped in a woven 3K carbon exterior, made in the USA and built in house. The composite core delivers the toughness and lifting power to turn heavy fish, while the 3K carbon skin adds stiffness, sensitivity, and serious durability. It's where the extra power in the Versit XP comes from. Eva Power Grip: The Versit XP's EVA foregrip measures 4.5 inches, a full inch longer than the 3.5 inch grip on the standard Versit. That extra length gives you more room to grab and more leverage to lean on when a heavy fish pulls back, with the same non-slip, all day comfort in wet conditions. Quick Swap Battery/Butt: The E-Rod's signature Quick Swap system lets you hot-swap a fully charged battery butt in seconds. Stay in the water longer with no downtime, no tangled cables, and no wasted time. Graphite Reel Seat: The lightweight graphite reel seat keeps total rod weight to a minimum while providing a secure, corrosion-proof lockdown for your reel. Its slim profile integrates cleanly into the Versit XP's streamlined design. Fuji Sic Tip: The Fuji Silicon Carbide tip ring is the gold standard in fishing, ultra-hard and incredibly smooth, it reduces line wear and friction even under the sustained load of deep drops. It's the tip serious anglers trust. Alps HR Guides: Fitted with ALPS HR guides, the Versit XP delivers consistent line control and smooth retrieves on every drop. Built for reliability, these guides stand up to the saltwater environment without compromise. Acid Wrapped Guides: Acid wrapped guides (or spiral wrapped guides) are when guides start on top of the casting rod (for the reel) and spiral around the blank to the bottom, combining the advantages of casting and spinning rods. This design eliminates rod twist/torque under heavy loads, significantly reducing angler fatigue and increasing stability when fighting large fish.
