Its stiff, responsive construction transfers every bump and strike directly to your hand. Hand Wrapped in Stuart, FL: Every rod is hand-wrapped by skilled craftsmen right in Stuart, Florida, the fishing capital of the world. This hands-on attention to detail ensures consistent quality and a level of care no machine can match. Triple Coated Finish: Three layers of premium epoxy coating seal every wrap and thread for maximum durability and a deep, glossy appearance. This multi-coat process protects against saltwater exposure while delivering a showcase-worthy finish. Carbon Jigging Blank: A purpose-built carbon jigging blank provides the fast, responsive tip action needed to animate jigs effectively at depth. Its progressive taper ensures decisive hooksets while absorbing the hard headshakes of strong pelagic fish. Quick Swap Battery/Butt: The E-Rod's signature Quick Swap system lets you hot-swap a fully charged battery butt in seconds. Stay in the water longer with no downtime, no tangled cables, and no wasted time. Graphite Reel Seat: The lightweight graphite reel seat keeps total rod weight to a minimum while providing a secure, corrosion-proof lockdown for your reel. Its slim profile integrates cleanly with the Cloud's ultralight, performance-focused design. Fuji Sic Tip: The Fuji Silicon Carbide tip ring is the gold standard in fishing, ultra-hard and incredibly smooth, it reduces line wear and friction even under the sustained load of deep drops. It's the tip serious anglers trust. Alps MXN Guide Train: The industry-leading ALPS MXN guide train delivers unmatched strength and consistent line-to-guide contact across every inch of the rod. These high-performance guides are built to handle the punishing demands of deep-water fishing. Acid Wrapped Guides: Acid wrapped guides (or spiral wrapped guides) are when guides start on top of the casting rod (for the reel) and spiral around the blank to the bottom, combining the advantages of casting and spinning rods. This design eliminates rod twist/torque under heavy loads, significantly reducing angler fatigue and increasing stability when fighting large fish.
