Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Warehouse C 10 Year Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Warehouse C is a one time only limited release Kentucky Straight Bourbon issued by Buffalo Trace Distillery in June 2021 and named for the historic Warehouse C, the barrel aging facility built by Colonel Taylor himself in 1885. Taylor considered Warehouse C the final piece of his model distillery and the warehouse he was most proud of, even featuring it in the lithograph book he commissioned during his lifetime. This release is aged a full ten years in the heart of Warehouse C, with half the barrels drawn from the dry, slow aging second floor and the other half from the well ventilated fifth floor, both regarded as exceptional aging zones for older bourbon. Bottled in Bond at 100 proof under the 1897 Act that Taylor himself helped pass into law, this release pays direct tribute to the Colonel's enduring legacy and his lifelong pursuit of bourbon quality standards. Presented in the signature E.H. Taylor vintage style label with branded canister, this is among the most allocated and collectable releases in the entire E.H. Taylor lineup, with secondary market values reflecting its scarcity. ABV / Proof Brand Colonel E.H. FAQ What is Warehouse C? Warehouse C is a historic barrel aging warehouse built by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. in 1885 at what is now Buffalo Trace Distillery. Taylor regarded it as the most important piece of his model distillery and featured it prominently in the lithograph book he commissioned. The warehouse remains one of the distillery's most celebrated aging buildings. What does Bottled in Bond mean? Bottled in Bond is a designation under the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, championed by Colonel Taylor himself. It guarantees that the whiskey is the product of one distillation season, by one distiller, at one distillery, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof. How rare is this release? The 2021 Warehouse C release was a one time only bottling with strictly limited allocation through Buffalo Trace's standard distribution channels, making sealed bottles increasingly difficult to source. Other premium limited E.H. Taylor releases such as Single Barrel and Barrel Proof are also worth exploring for collectors. Where can I buy E.H. Taylor Warehouse C online?
