Dynamic:01 (2007)

A rare and compelling glimpse into the creative mind of David Lynch, this curated collection assembles a series of personal short films and digital experiments created outside the boundaries of conventional cinema. Intimate, strange, and unmistakably Lynchian, these pieces explore themes of isolation, abstraction, and the uncanny, using minimal setups and surreal visual language. Included are The Darkened Room, a quiet descent into emotional disorientation; Boat, a narrated dream-journey that drifts between tranquility and dread; and Out Yonder – Neighbor Boy, a bizarre slice of Americana filtered through absurdist dialogue. Lamp and Industrial Soundscape reduce narrative to pure mood, while Bug Crawls and Intervalometer Experiments function as cryptic meditations on time, space, and decay. Also featured is Member Questions, in which Lynch responds to audience-submitted inquiries with dry wit and deadpan charm. Unavailable on disc for years and originally released only through Lynch’s now-defunct official website, this collection offers a fascinating look at the director’s creative process in its rawest form. A must-own for Lynch completists and anyone interested in the outer limits of experimental cinema. 116 minutes STANDARD FORMAT English audio soundtrack DVD is NTSC format, Region 0 (region free) playable world wide Written and Directed by David Lynch Starring: Jordan Ladd, Etsuko Shikata, Cerina Vincent, David Lynch, Emily Stofle and Austin Jack Lynch
