The Dynafit DNA Pole is a fixed-length race pole built entirely from carbon fiber, coming in at 133 grams with nothing on it that fails to contribute to going uphill faster. The grip is Nordic in shape, cupping the hand for a long extended push rather than the short plant of an alpine pole, which is what skimo racing and skating actually demand. A Butterfly 2.0 basket uses an asymmetric two-piece shape that levers out of soft snow instead of catching on the skinning stride, and it adapts across snow types and slope angles. A carbide tip bites on a firm skin track. Race poles size longer than alpine poles. Unisex.
