DX FROM MARS

An Old Skool Classic Redefined The DX was a drum machine produced in 1983, which, along with its big brother, the DMX, was used on many hit records of that era (most notably New Order's "Blue Monday"). In addition to 80s pop, it was widely used on many house / new wave jams 80s Hip Hop, and even the early digital era of reggae. The DX delivers a huge, acoustic / electronic drum sound akin to the Linndrum, Drumtrax and 707 (but fuller sounding). Thick, punchy, and sits well in any mix. It's been multi-sampled to 1/4" tape through classic preamps, hardware saturation and Apogee conversion, and transformed into a feature rich Kontakt instrument, Ableton 9 drum rack, Maschine Kit and Logic EXS patches.  The Kontakt Instrument in Action Requirements Kontakt 5.6.5+ (Not Kontakt Player) Ableton Live 9.7+ (Not Intro) Logic 9+ Maschine 2.0+ FL Studio 20.8+ 24bit WAV compatible DAW or Sampler 85 MB Free Space Per Format WAV Features: 800x 24bit WAV Samples organized into easy access folders 3x pre-made 16 hit WAV kits for easy use Kick, Snare, Toms, Clap, Shaker, HH, & Crash Each hit has been multi-sampled at all possible tunings Each hit re-pitched on tape at lower and higher octaves) Kick and Snare feature saturated variations All samples recorded to 1/4" mastering tape 100% hardware processing (no EQ or compression) Kontakt Features: Extensive real time control of parameters for every drum voice Sample Selector selects different samples recorded at various pitches Hardware saturation selects different samples recorded with hardware saturation Transient designer, drive, reverb, pitch, filter, delay, EQ, parallel master compression, and Analog mode 32 step 8 track sequencer with 10 real-time switchable patterns, real-time pattern length adjustment, accent, shuffle, and more Click Here for full feature list / manual Ableton Contents: 1 Drum Rack contains all DX drum hits Extensively mapped FX and 8 Macros on every drum pad Selector knob allows easy selection of samples and hardware tuning Logic Contents: 25x fully mapped EXS Instruments 1x kit instrument contains 3x 16 hit pre-made drum kits  24 individual drum instruments Maschine Contents: 10 Custom groups with tagged samples for Maschine Library Ready for all versions of Maschine with 2.0 software FL Studio Contents:  3x 16 hit FPC drum kit instruments
