D.V. Catena Malbec Malbec 750ml (6 bottles)

DV Catena Malbec: The Perfect Encounter of Flavors and Terroirs The DV Catena Malbec is an exceptional blend sourced from two unique vineyards, the Angelica vineyard and the Pyramid vineyard, each contributing its distinctive character to this gem of Argentine winemaking. The Angelica vineyard imparts aromas of ripe plum jam and blackberries, adding smoothness and volume on the palate. Meanwhile, the Pyramid vineyard adds notes of black stone fruits and spices such as black pepper and cloves, creating a fascinating complexity. This Malbec is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new), giving it firm structure and a deep aromatic profile. On the palate, it presents firm tannins and balanced acidity, resulting in a long and persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression. For pairing, the DV Catena Malbec is ideal with elaborate dishes that highlight its intensity and complexity. Try it with herb-crusted roasted lamb and truffled mashed potatoes, or with a ribeye steak in red wine sauce and gratin potatoes. It also pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses such as aged Gouda or Pecorino. A powerful yet balanced wine that showcases the best of Argentine winemaking tradition in every bottle.
