Dustless Technologies - Filter Bag Open -D1505 (3 Pack) - D1500 Dustless D1500 Filter Bag Open 3pk is designed for easy to install and easy to replace for janitorial use. Clean filter without opening canister by wiggling the agitator rod The Filter Bag Seal for model D1505 from Dustless Technologies is a disposable HEPA-grade bag solution designed to fit the D1505 backpack vacuum unit. The three-pack is designated by SKU D1503. The product page confirms features such as “Made of HEPA material that filters down to 99.97% of dust down to 0.3 microns.” It is engineered to capture very fine particles and provide a safe, sealed disposal method for hazardous dust materials such as silica, lead dust or asbestos trace dust in a professional environment. Compatibility & Application The bag seal is specifically compatible with the D1505 backpack vac model. According to the product page: “HEPA Filter Replacement Bags for the D1505 BackPack Vac.” That means users who operate the D1505 vac (2.5 gallon backpack unit by Dustless Technologies) can replace their disposable filter bags with this sealed bag pack. The sealed top (as opposed to “open top” bag versions) is particularly suited for capturing dust that must be contained for disposal, including regulated dust types. Key use-cases include: Silica dust control during concrete grinding, saw-cutting or surface prep where OSHA/OSHA RRP regulations apply. Lead paint removal or encapsulation work where sealed disposal bags are required. Job-site cleaning and vacuuming of fine dust in confined environments, with minimal filter-bag failures or dust escape. Rental fleets or maintenance fleets where low cost per use, ease of change-out, and safe disposal are critical. The “seal” version implies the bag can be closed/locked in a manner that ensures safe containment of captured dust when the bag is removed and disposed. This is a professional feature that builds confidence in regulated dust work. Feature Highlights & Technical Details Filtration: The bag is built from HEPA-grade material with an efficiency rating of 99.97% for particles down to 0.3 microns. This level of filtration is in line with what is required for many hazardous dust capture situations. Bag size/capacity: The specifications list the bag as a 2.5-gallon sealed cover. “2.5 Gallon sealable cover, keeps particles contained for safe disposal.” Packaging: Supplied in a “3 Pack” (three bags per box) under SKU D1503, making it convenient for users who change bags frequently. Dimensions & weight: The listing shows length 17.5 x width 7 x height 17.5 inches; weight approx 0.12 lbs. The dimensions reference shipments rather than bag capacity, likely outer packaging size. Warranty: The product page indicates a 90-Day warranty. Category: This product falls under “Filters” in the Dustless Tools inventory and is listed under “BackPack Vacuums” accessories for the D1505 model.  Benefits & Why It Matters Containment & Safety – The sealed bag format prevents dust leakage during removal, which is particularly important for hazardous materials like silica, lead or asbestos trace dust. Having a sealed disposal bag supports compliance with hazardous-dust protocols. High filtration efficiency – With 99.97% filtration down to 0.3 microns, the bag seal supports fine-dust capture and helps protect the vacuum’s internal motor, filters and downstream environment from fine dust overload. Cost-effective replacement – At ~$22 for three bags, the per-bag cost is modest, especially when balanced against improved performance and safer disposal. Ease of use – The design enables quick bag change-out and sealed disposal, reducing downtime on site and minimizing dust exposure for operators. Fit for professional environments – Contractors and rental fleets who need to swap bags frequently or support multiple crew members benefit from having packs ready for use. Regulatory readiness – Since many job-sites now demand HEPA-grade vacuums with sealed disposal for silica, lead or heavy dust, having the correct bag seal supports compliance. Installation & Usage Tips To get the maximum benefit from the Filter Bag Seal D1505 (3 Pack) D1503, consider these usage best practices: When bag is nearly full or vacuum flow drops, replace the bag rather than continuing to use it. A full bag can reduce airflow and increase motor workload. Always use a vacuum rated for silica dust in conjunction with this bag, and ensure that internal filters are maintained. The bag is part of the dust control chain, not the full system. On removal, seal the bag properly and follow job-site disposal protocols for dust-laden bag. The “sealable cover” allows job-site personnel to seal the bag after removal without dust escape. Keep spare bags on hand – with a three-pack, you’ll want to inventory replacements regularly, especially if you support multiple workers or machines. When using the bag in wet + dry vac mode (if permitted), ensure that the vac is suitable for wet use and the bag remains dry; wet use may require a different bag type (check manufacturer guidelines). Label the used bag with job name, date, and dust type if required for job-site records, especially when working with regulated materials. Clean the vacuum’s hose and inner filters when bag is changed. While the bag captures dust, fine particles may still migrate if pre-filters or internal seals are compromised. Comparison & Value Proposition Compared to open-top bags or non-sealed bags, the D1503 sealed bag pack offers superior containment of fine and hazardous dust. Some other options for the D1505 vac include the “Filter Bag Open – D1505 (3 Pack) SKU D1500” which is cheaper (~$21.99) but does not include the sealed top format. For contractors working in regulated environments, paying a small premium for sealed containment can avoid larger risks of dust escape, fines or cleanup costs. From a value perspective, consider: if a dust leak causes a job-site inspection, or requires re-work or cleanup, the cost savings of better containment and higher filtration may pay off quickly. — Ideal Use-Cases & Customer Profiles Flooring contractors performing concrete grinding, surface prep, shot-blasting or dust-intensive polishing, where fine dust must be collected and disposed of safely. Demolition and renovation crews removing old tile, flooring adhesives, concrete-core cutting, where silica or lead dust may be present and sealed disposal is required. Rental tool fleets who supply backpack vacuums (D1505 models) and need reliable consumables at low cost to support frequent change-out across multiple sites. Industrial maintenance teams cleaning plant or manufacturing dust, HVAC ducts, or environments where fine-dust capture is critical and poor containment may lead to equipment damage. Compliance-driven environments (schools, hospitals, trace-lead remediation) where sealed capture and disposal of dust is a job-site protocol. Final Thoughts & Recommendation If you operate a D1505 backpack vacuum from Dustless Technologies and you’re looking for a replacement bag option that offers sealed disposal, HEPA-grade filtration, and professional containment for fine or hazardous dust, the Filter Bag Seal – D1505 (3 Pack) – D1503 is a smart choice. At a modest price point and with the right compatibility, this bag meets the demands of job-sites requiring high dust-control performance, supports safer disposal practices, and helps maintain vacuum efficiency and airflow. For contractors or rental operations seeking to minimize dust-escape risk, maintain job-site compliance and reduce downtime or cleanup costs, keeping a stock of these bags on hand makes operational sense. When you pair the sealed bag with regular maintenance, proper vacuum filter upkeep and correct job-site practices, you’ll maximize your vacuum’s performance and reduce dust-related issues — making this little consumable an important part of your dust-control strategy.
