DuraGrip - Silicon Carbide 1lb

When you need the ultimate level of grip we have just the product for you! Silicon Carbide is an exceptionally hard wearing rough compound for when you need sandpaper like grip/grit. Sprinkle some DuraGrip (Silicon Carbide) on top of your Durabak 5-10 minutes after applying it, while it's still tacky (almost dry but still sticks to your fingers). The DuraGrip comes in a salt shaker so you can evenly sprinkle it over the Durabak, we recommend 1 oz for every 8 sq.ft of Durabak - but you can use more or less as you please depending on the level of grip you require. DuraGrip is dark grey, almost black, so it will darken the color of your Durabak application as you use more of it. We recommend using safety goggles whilst applying DuraGrip. 1 lb of DuraGrip should cover 128 sq. ft.
