Dunlop Squash Iconic Power4 String

The Dunlop Iconic Power is a premium multifilament squash string designed for players who want to maximize depth and pace while maintaining a high level of arm comfort. It is the "power-focused" sibling to the Iconic Pro string used by many professionals on the PSA World Tour. This string is typically sold as a single 10m (33ft) set, which is the exact amount needed to restring one standard squash racquet. Technical Specifications Construction: Premium multifilament core with a high-elasticity fiber wrap. Material: High-quality Polyurethane (PU) fibers, which provide a soft, "rubbery" feel that absorbs shock. Technology: "Powered by Srixon," utilizing advanced materials also found in Dunlop’s high-end racquet frames. Gauge: 18G (1.10mm). This is an ultra-thin gauge that allows the string to bite into the ball for better spin and provides a massive energy return (trampoline effect). Length: 10 meters (33 feet). Key Performance Features Explosive Power : The primary goal of the Iconic Power is in its name. The thin 1.10mm profile and elastic multifilament construction allow the string bed to stretch and snap back rapidly, launching the ball with significant velocity even on shorter swings. Exceptional Comfort : Because it uses PU fibers, it is much softer than synthetic gut or polyester strings. It is an ideal choice for:  Players suffering from squash elbow or wrist pain. Players who find standard strings too "stiff" or jarring. Precision and Feel : Despite being a power-oriented string, it offers "surgical precision." The multifilament design provides excellent tactile feedback, meaning you can feel exactly where the ball is hitting the strings, which is essential for delicate drop shots and boasts. Best For:  Intermediate to Advanced Players: Those who have the control to handle a "lively" string bed but want extra help getting the ball to the back of the court. Light-Frame Users: If you use a racquet under 125g, this string helps compensate for the lower mass of the frame by providing more internal power. Comfort Seekers: Anyone looking for a premium, soft-feeling string that rivals the performance of natural gut.
